Azucar Negra y Leonel Limonta

His director Leonel Limonta created the band in 1998 that performances great Cuban rhythm, identified by daring and complex way of dancing, and extraordinary voices. Its interpretations express the perfect mixture of races and cultures, which have endowed the island with a rich musical tradition very singular that Azucar Negra renews constantly, and because of this the group have preferences of young generations.

Salsa Orchestra.
Founded in 1998 by the well-known composer Leonel Limonta Masso, it soon became one of the most important and popular Cuban groups of salsa music.
Azúcar Negra is known by its lyrical and sonorous quality, as well as for its matchless scenic presence. The texts of their songs, mostly composed by Limonta, always contain positive and special messages for youngsters, accompanied by excellent musical arrangements with a slight influence of the Latin jazz.
The band has very good rythmic and brass sections, as well as first-rate singers with a great  capacity for improvising and based on the best Cuban popular traditions.
