La Barriada y Juan Kemell

La Barriada is born in September, 1995, headed by Juan Kemell, an exceptional trumpeter, song writer and arranger. La Barriada distinguishes by use of contemporaneous sonorities and new lyrics, incorporating several genres of Cuban popular music like guaracha, son and cha cha cha, in addition to some Latin rhythms and jazz.
