The group was founded on May 8th, 1954 by Enrique Jorrín, violin player, composer and manager well known around the world because of his creation of the famous rhythm: the cha cha cha. Enrique Jorrin Orchestra had a nice popularity all around the world, especially in America where it became an idol.
